2026 to 2027 Season

Athlete & Parent
Handbook.

Every policy that governs your athlete's season in one place. Attendance, financial obligations, uniforms, conduct, travel, and everything else you agreed to at enrollment. Keep it handy.

Section 01

Welcome & Mission

Welcome to Elevate Cheer All Stars. This handbook is the operating reference for every family in our program for the 2026 to 2027 season. It is the document referenced by the waiver and participation agreement your family signs at enrollment, and it applies to every athlete in every program, from CheerAbilities and Novice through Elite Full Travel.

Our Mission

As we carry forward the decades long legacy of K&K Cheer Empire into this next chapter as Elevate Cheer All Stars, that foundation remains at the core of everything we do. Elevate carries forward a long standing commitment to athlete development, experienced coaching, and a culture rooted in hard work, respect, and fun.

We believe cheerleading should be both challenging and enjoyable. We emphasize proper technique, teamwork, and competitive excellence, and we also recognize the importance of balance. Athletes should have room to grow, explore other interests, and build confidence both on and off the mat. Talent alone does not define success here. Character, attitude, and effort matter most.

At Elevate, athletes learn the art of cheerleading while building lifelong values through teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Our mission is to continue that legacy of developing well rounded athletes who love the sport, support one another, and are prepared for success far beyond competition.

Our Staff

Elevate is owned and operated by Brandon and Olivia Campbell. Our coaching staff brings decades of combined experience in the all star industry and maintains certifications including AACCA, CPR, and First Aid, ensuring a safe and structured learning environment for athletes ages 2 to 18.

Coaching staff: Cami, Mike, Kolby, Sophia, and Lacie.

Agreement to These Policies

By enrolling an athlete at Elevate Cheer All Stars, families agree to the policies in this handbook. Enrollment, participation, and continued membership are conditioned on athletes and families following these standards.

Elevate Cheer All Stars may update this handbook during the season. The current version is always posted at elevatecheeraz.com/handbook, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the current version.

Section 02

Program Structure

Elevate offers competitive team programs plus tumbling, flyer, and recreational classes. Team placements and age groupings are determined based on enrollment, skill level, and program needs. Age ranges are subject to adjustment to ensure the best possible team experience for all athletes.

Program Options

ProgramPracticeCompetitionsEstimated Season Cost
Novice1.5 hrs, once per week3 local, Feb to March$2,265
Prep Half Season1 hr, twice per week4 local, Dec to Feb$2,395
Prep1.5 hrs, twice per week6 local, Dec to May$3,814

Elite Full Travel2 hrs twice per week plus 1 hr tumbling8 total: 4 local, 2 virtual, 1 regular out of state, and 1 end of season event, Dec to April$5,284
  • Novice. Designed for beginner athletes. Registration is online, and teams are grouped by age and ability to create a positive learning environment. This is a low commitment, non travel introduction to cheer. Tumbling is optional and not included in price.
  • Prep Half Season. An introduction to all star cheer. This non travel program allows new athletes to experience a team setting with lower cost, reduced time commitment, and a shorter season than full season programs. Tumbling is optional and not included in price.
  • Prep. Designed for athletes with busy schedules or families who prefer a non travel competitive experience while still participating on a full season team. Tumbling is optional and not included.
  • CheerAbilities. An inclusive, supportive team experience for athletes of all abilities. Athletes build skills, confidence, and teamwork in a structured environment focused on growth and success.
  • Elite Full Travel. A highly competitive program for dedicated athletes ready for advanced training. Athletes must have required skills mastered before the season. Best for families prepared for the time, commitment, and expectations of elite level cheer. Tumbling is included in tuition. Occasional weekend practices.

Our Teams

Passion, Tiny Takeoff, Mini Mavericks, Launch, Jet Setters, Blue Angels, Cloud Nine, Flight Crew, First Class, and Full Throttle.

Team Placement

Athletes are placed based on age, skill level, tumbling, jumps, stunting, motion technique, and coachability. Returning athletes are also considered on attendance and prior performance.

Placements, routines, and positions are determined at coach and ownership discretion based on overall program fit. By participating, families agree to these decisions. Coaches may adjust placements, require additional training, and make roster decisions throughout the season.

To be considered for any given level, skills must be performed with near perfect execution and consistency. We are looking for complete athletes who are ready to contribute across every element of their routine including tumbling, stunting, jumps, technique, and performance. This often means a placement will not reflect an athlete's highest skill. Our goal is to be competitive, and that requires full mastery at whatever level an athlete is placed.

Questions regarding an individual placement are welcome and are handled privately by email. Group discussions regarding team placement are not permitted.

Additional Monthly Costs

ClassMonthly Rate
Tumbling, 1x per week$75
Tumbling, 2x per week$115
Tumbling, 3x per week$150
Flyer class, team athlete$30
Flyer class, non team athlete$40

Elite teams have one mandatory tumbling class included in monthly tuition. Elite athletes may upgrade to two classes per week for $40 a month or three classes per week for $75 a month. Flyer class is required for team flyers.

Section 03

Attendance Policy

Consistent attendance is essential for individual growth and team success. Excessive absences, excused or unexcused, may affect an athlete's placement or role. In addition to practices, athletes and families should expect occasional outside commitments such as fundraisers, community events, and team bonding activities.

Additional practices may be added leading up to competitions, and Elite teams should expect occasional weekend practices.

Allowance & Protocol

Athletes are allowed seven excused absences during competition season. Unexcused absences are tracked separately and addressed at the discretion of coaches and directors.

After seven excused absences, a mandatory coach meeting is scheduled to review the situation and establish a plan forward. Outcomes, which may include a modified attendance agreement or placement adjustment, are determined at the discretion of coaches, directors, and ownership. Until the meeting occurs, the athlete may sit out, be placed as an alternate, or be removed from choreography.

All situations are handled individually. Smaller adjustments are considered before more significant steps are taken, though certain violations, such as missing a competition without prior approval, may require immediate action regardless of prior standing.

Absence Procedures

We understand absences are sometimes unavoidable. Notify coaches as soon as possible so they can plan accordingly.

Planned absences require written submission at least two weeks in advance. Forms are available at the front desk and online. If a request is not approved, the athlete is expected to attend as scheduled. Families may direct concerns to the program director, but proceeding without approval results in an unexcused absence.

Excused Absences

Proper communication and approval are required, with two weeks notice where applicable.

  • School functions impacting grades
  • Pre-planned religious observances or holidays
  • Required school ceremonies or academic field trips
  • Hospitalization
  • Serious illness or injury to the athlete or an immediate family member
  • Death in the family
  • Other circumstances approved by management and coaches

Unexcused Absences

The following are considered unexcused and are expected to be managed alongside team commitments.

  • Homework, studying, or academic projects
  • Other extracurricular activities or employment
  • Illness not meeting the criteria outlined in the Injury and Medical section

Unexcused absences are handled at the discretion of coaches, directors, and ownership and may result in placement or choreography adjustments. Unexcused absences in the two weeks before a competition are treated with the same seriousness as the no absence rule.

Pre-Competition Period

The two weeks before a competition are critical. Athletes who miss practice during this window may be removed from the routine, and missing a competition without prior approval may result in dismissal, both at the discretion of ownership, directors, and coaches.

Practices continue as scheduled the week of most travel competitions. Traveling to the event early is not an acceptable reason to miss practice and is treated as an absence during the pre-competition period.

Tardy & Late Arrival

Athletes are expected to arrive on time and ready to participate. Any late arrival is recorded as a tardy. There is no grace period and no minimum amount of time that is overlooked.

Consistent tardiness is disruptive and may be addressed by coaches and directors. Habitual late arrivals may affect an athlete's placement or standing.

Section 04

Financial Obligations

Team fees include all essential in season expenses such as local competition entry fees, choreography, custom music, and uniforms. These fees ensure your athlete is fully prepared for the competitive season. With reasonable notice, additional competitions may be added, which could result in additional fees.

What Each Fee Covers

  • Commitment Fee. Secures your athlete's spot on the team and confirms your family's commitment to the upcoming season. This allows us to finalize team rosters and begin season planning. Non-refundable.
  • Annual Registration Fee. Covers administrative costs including athlete enrollment, system setup, and season preparation. This fee, along with the commitment fee, officially registers your athlete in the program and is non-refundable after June 1.
  • Monthly Tuition. Covers weekly practices, coaching, and facility use throughout the season. To secure your athlete's full season commitment, the final month of tuition, May 2027, is collected at sign-up and applied to the last month of the season. Like all season payments, this amount is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Choreography. Covers the creation, instruction, and cleaning of your athlete's competition routine by professional choreographers.
  • Music. Includes custom cut and licensed competition music tailored specifically to your team's routine.
  • Practice Wear. Covers designated team practice apparel to maintain a clean and consistent training environment. May also be used for events.
  • Competition Uniform and Accessories. Includes the official team uniform and required accessories worn at competitions and events.
  • Local Competition Fees. Covers entry fees for in season local competitions your team attends.

Zorts Fee

All athletes are required to register through Zorts, a third party platform used for athlete management and communication. This fee is separate, is paid directly to Zorts at registration, and is not collected by Elevate Cheer All Stars. The fee is up to $25 annually.

Billing & Payment

Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of each month. Team fees are due on the 15th of each month.

Regular season fees are posted to accounts at least three days prior to the due date. Families may log into the parent portal to submit payment before the due date. For those enrolled in auto pay, payments are processed automatically on the scheduled due date. We are happy to review and consider requests for alternative payment arrangements when communicated in advance.

Late Fees & Insufficient Funds

A $25 monthly fee is applied to accounts with late payments, chargebacks, or insufficient funds. To help avoid late fees, families are strongly encouraged to enroll in automatic payments using ACH or a credit card. Late fees are applied automatically by the system.

If an account is not brought current before the next scheduled payment, Elevate Cheer All Stars may sit an athlete out of practice and remove the athlete from competition until the balance is current. Fees continue to accrue during any period an athlete is sitting out.

Out of Town & End of Season Events

Teams attending in season out of town competitions incur additional team fees. These fees cover competition registration as well as coaches' registration and travel related expenses. Competition registration for in season events is built into these costs.

These fees do not include athlete or family travel expenses such as airfare, lodging, meals, transportation, or the cost of renting additional practice space. Families are responsible for all personal travel expenses for in season and post season events.

All Star Worlds is an end of season event that requires separate fees typically due in March. This fee encompasses team registration as well as coaches registration and travel.

Accessories & Additional Purchases

ItemCostRequired
Makeup, eyeshadow palette and lipstick$45Required
Elevate branded warm-up$150Optional
Elevate branded backpack$125Optional
Elevate branded team shoes$125Elite Full Travel

For Elite Full Travel teams, we recommend a separate practice shoe in addition to branded team competition shoes. Tiny, Mini, and Prep teams need all white cheer shoes. Branded team competition shoes are not required for those teams.

Discounts

  • Pay in Full. A discount equal to 10 percent on dues when the total season amount is paid in full.
  • Family. $15 off the registration fee for a second child and an additional $5 off the registration fee for each child after that. Families also receive $25 off monthly tuition as a family discount.
  • ACH Banking. Athletes enrolled in automatic payments using a checking or savings account receive a 2 percent discount applied to the lowest available cost after all other discounts. Families who pay the full balance by check receive the same 2 percent discount.

Referral Credits

Referral credit applies to a new athlete who has not previously participated on a team at our gym. Both families must complete and sign the referral form to verify the referral.

  • Travel team enrollment: $100 account credit in April 2027
  • Non travel team enrollment: $75 account credit in April 2027
  • Novice team enrollment: $50 account credit in April 2027

Late Enrollment

Late enrollment is subject to team availability and approval. Athletes enrolling after the start of the season are subject to a late enrollment adjustment. All standard team fees remain due in full and are not prorated, including commitment fee, registration fee, choreography, team music, practice wear, and uniform costs.

Monthly tuition is prorated based on the athlete's start date for their first month of enrollment. May tuition is required and due at the time of enrollment. Competition fees may be prorated at the discretion of Elevate Cheer All Stars based on enrollment date and competition schedule.

Refund & Financial Commitment

All fees paid to Elevate Cheer All Stars are non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes, but is not limited to, registration fees, commitment fees, tuition, choreography, music, apparel, uniforms, and competition fees.

Tuition represents the cost of the full season and is not based on attendance. Missed practices, vacations, schedule conflicts, and late registration do not reduce or eliminate financial obligations. Payments already made are not refunded. Withdrawal from the program is handled under the Withdrawal Policy in Section 12.

All sales of apparel, uniforms, and custom items are final once ordered. No refunds or exchanges are issued.

While all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, Elevate Cheer All Stars reserves the right to review extenuating circumstances on a case by case basis. Any exceptions, including potential account credits or adjusted payment obligations, are made at the sole discretion of ownership and do not establish precedent. In approved situations, account credits may be issued and can be applied toward recreational classes, clinics, or private lessons. Credits hold no cash value and are non-transferable.

Section 05

Uniforms & Practicewear

The competition uniform and required accessories are worn at competitions and events. Uniforms are designed to last up to three seasons, however all athletes purchase a new uniform for the 2026 to 2027 season. Uniforms must be paid in full before distribution. Athletes are sized after team placements.

Uniform costs may be split into two payments, with the second payment scheduled no later than three months from the athlete's enrollment date.

Practice wear covers designated team practice apparel to maintain a clean and consistent training environment and may also be worn to events. Practice attire may shrink over time and athletes may grow throughout the season. If attire no longer fits appropriately, families may be required to purchase a replacement set.

Care & Replacement

Uniforms and practice wear must be cared for and washed according to the manufacturer standard for the garment. Elevate Cheer All Stars is not responsible for damage to a uniform, including damage caused by improper washing, drying, alteration, or normal wear.

Athletes who lose or damage a uniform piece are responsible for the cost of replacement at current vendor pricing. Replacement orders are subject to vendor production and shipping timelines.

Practice Dress Code

Athletes are expected to follow the practice dress code at all scheduled practices.

  • Designated practice attire and cheer shoes must be worn to every practice.
  • Practice Day 1: black spandex and black Elevate top with any bow.
  • Practice Day 2: blue skirt and Elevate top with team bow.
  • Athletes who are alternates, injured, or limited due to illness are still required to wear appropriate practice attire.
  • Hair must be pulled fully out of the face in a high pony at every practice. Chin length hair may be worn half up and half down.
  • Male athletes should keep hair neatly groomed, away from the face and off the neck, with well kept facial hair if any.
  • Female athletes must wear spandex under practice attire.
  • Female athletes are encouraged to wear sports bras under practice tops for proper support. Layering sports bras is permitted if additional support is needed.
  • Jewelry is strongly discouraged at practice. Elevate Cheer All Stars and its staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or removed jewelry.

Competition Ready Attire

Athletes are required to arrive at all competition venues in full competition ready attire. This ensures a polished appearance, compliance with industry rules, and athlete safety.

  • Full team uniform with hair fully styled and ready for competition.
  • Uniforms worn as intended, with no altered fit such as unbuttoned collars, off shoulder wear, or arms out of sleeves.
  • Official Elevate Cheer All Stars warm ups worn over the uniform when applicable.
  • Team bow.
  • Athletic cheer shoes only.
  • No jewelry may be worn during warm ups or competition. Jewelry may result in deductions and poses a safety risk.
  • Piercings may not be covered or plugged while competing due to industry regulations.
  • Uniform skirts must be worn under athletic outerwear.
  • Apparel and backpacks must be Elevate Cheer All Stars branded or specific to the competition being attended. Warm ups, backpacks, and additional gear may be purchased through our team shop.

Elevate Cheer All Stars takes pride in presenting well dressed and polished athletes at all competitions and events.

Section 06

Code of Conduct

Athlete Conduct

  • Treat coaches, teammates, staff, officials, and athletes from other programs with respect at all times.
  • Arrive on time, in dress code, and ready to work. Practice begins on the mat, not in the lobby.
  • Give full effort. Attitude and coachability carry the same weight as skill.
  • Bullying, hazing, exclusion, gossip, and any form of harassment are not tolerated in the gym, at events, or online.
  • Profanity, disrespectful language, and arguing with coaches or officials are not acceptable.
  • Keep the gym clean. Pick up after yourself, keep bags in designated areas, and treat equipment with care.
  • Athletes represent Elevate Cheer All Stars whenever they are in uniform, in gym apparel, or identifiable as a member of our program.

Cell Phones

Phones are not used during practice. Coaches may collect phones at the start of practice and return them at the conclusion of practice.

Substance Policy

Possession or use of alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, or illegal substances by an athlete at the gym, at any Elevate event, or during team travel results in immediate removal from the event and review for dismissal, regardless of the athlete's age.

Parent & Family Conduct

  • Do not say anything that could reasonably be viewed as negative about the program, ownership, coaches, staff, teammates, other families, or placements where athletes can hear it. This includes the lobby, the viewing area, the parking lot, competition venues, and group settings.
  • Coaching from the viewing area, sidelines, or warm up room is not permitted. It divides an athlete's attention and creates safety risk.
  • Direct concerns to coaches and program leadership privately, never in front of athletes, at competitions, or in group settings.
  • Treat coaches, staff, front desk, officials, other families, and athletes from other programs with respect. Aggressive, abusive, or threatening behavior toward staff is grounds for removal from the program.
  • Parents and guardians are responsible for their athlete's activities and behavior during out of town events.
  • Athletes and families should not approach competition officials for any reason. All concerns are directed to coaches. Failure to follow this policy may result in disqualification of the entire program.

Parent Viewing Area

We love having our families here and want you to feel welcome at every practice. To help our athletes stay focused, we encourage arriving during the final fifteen minutes whenever possible. Coaches reserve the right to limit or close viewing for specific practices when needed to best support athlete development.

Brand Protection & Unauthorized Merchandise

The name Elevate Cheer All Stars, along with all associated logos, slogans, designs, and branding elements, are proprietary assets of Elevate Cheer All Stars. These materials are legally protected and all rights are reserved. They may not be reproduced, altered, distributed, or used in any form without explicit written permission from Elevate Cheer All Stars management.

No parent, athlete, family member, friend, vendor, sponsor, or outside entity may print, create, sell, distribute, or use any merchandise or promotional items bearing the Elevate Cheer All Stars name, logo, or likeness. This includes but is not limited to clothing, bags, cups, water bottles, bows, banners, decals, digital designs, social media graphics, and any other branded items.

All official merchandise, spirit wear, and promotional materials must be approved in advance and produced through Elevate Cheer All Stars or its authorized vendors. Written consent must be obtained prior to any use, regardless of intent, quantity, or whether the items are sold, gifted, or used personally.

These policies exist to protect our athletes, our brand reputation, and the consistency and quality of Elevate Cheer All Stars merchandise. Unauthorized use may result in required removal or destruction of the items and may lead to disciplinary action. Questions regarding approved merchandise or requests for written authorization must be submitted directly to Elevate Cheer All Stars management.

Section 07

Social Media Policy

Athlete & Family Conduct Online

  • Anything posted while identifiable as an Elevate athlete or family reflects on the entire program.
  • Do not post commentary that could reasonably be viewed as negative about coaches, teammates, placements, other gyms, athletes from other programs, officials, or judges.
  • Concerns about the program are handled directly with coaches or ownership, not in comment sections, group chats, or public posts.
  • Do not post photos or video of other athletes without the permission of that athlete's parent or guardian.
  • Do not post images of any athlete in a state of undress, including changing areas at competitions.
  • Harassment, exclusion, or targeting of a teammate online is treated the same as bullying inside the gym.

Routine & Choreography

Full team routines and choreography may not be posted publicly before the team's first competition of the season. Individual skill clips and general practice footage are fine.

Media Release & Gym Use of Images

Photos and video taken at the gym, at competitions, and at Elevate events may be used for marketing, social media, and promotional materials. This is covered by the media release included in the waiver and participation agreement signed at enrollment.

Because athletes train and compete together, an individual opt out is not available. Enrollment includes consent for Elevate Cheer All Stars to use images and video of your athlete.

Team Communication App

Elevate Cheer All Stars uses the BAND app as the primary platform for team communication. This includes important updates such as practice changes, competition schedules, videos, photos, and team announcements.

The BAND app is intended for informational purposes only and should not be used to voice negative opinions or concerns. For individual matters including injuries, illness, or personal concerns, families should privately message their coaches or program leadership directly.

Instructions for joining individual team BAND groups are provided after team placements.

Section 08

Competition & Travel

Families are encouraged to review the season calendar carefully before making any travel arrangements.

Driving Distance Events

When feasible, teams traveling to events within driving distance, such as Palm Springs, Anaheim, or Las Vegas, may practice at the gym on Friday morning and depart following practice to help reduce travel costs. Teams typically return home after awards or on Monday.

Extended Travel

For events requiring longer travel, athletes should plan to arrive approximately one and a half days before their first scheduled performance and depart the day after the final competition day. For example, for a Saturday competition in a location such as Reno, Dallas, or Orlando, families should plan to travel Thursday, attend a local practice Friday, compete Saturday and Sunday, and depart Monday.

Travel Week Practices

Practices continue as scheduled the week of most travel competitions. Traveling to the event early is not an acceptable reason to miss practice and is treated as an absence during the pre-competition period.

Scheduling & Booking

Competition schedules are typically released the week of the event or as provided by the event producer. Elevate Cheer All Stars is not financially responsible for scheduling changes or conflicts with flights or hotel reservations. Families are strongly encouraged to book refundable or transferable travel arrangements when possible. Flying to out of town events is not required, and refunds are not issued for travel arrangements made independently by families.

Competition Day

  • Athletes report to the team check in location at the time announced by coaches, typically 90 minutes before performance.
  • Athletes stay with the team from check in through awards.
  • Athletes are released to a parent or guardian only after awards, unless a coach approves an early release in advance.
  • Athletes remain in full competition ready attire until released.

Specific report times, meeting locations, and day of details are released by coaches prior to each event and are subject to change.

Athletes and families should not approach competition officials for any reason. All concerns are directed to coaches. Failure to follow this policy may result in disqualification of the entire program.

Conduct & Responsibility During Travel

Parents and guardians are responsible for their athlete's activities and behavior during out of town events. Extensive activities should be saved for after competitions.

Athletes should not participate in theme parks, pools, extended walking activities, or similar physically demanding outings the day before competing. Athletes are expected to arrive rested and ready to perform.

Section 09

Communication

How We Reach You

The BAND app is our primary platform for team communication, including practice changes, competition schedules, videos, photos, and announcements. Email is used for billing, season wide announcements, and anything that needs a paper trail. Urgent day of changes are posted in BAND.

Families are responsible for monitoring BAND and email. Missing an announcement is not an excused reason for missing a practice, event, or deadline.

Reaching Us

Phone
623.294.4348
Email
info@elevatecheeraz.com
In person
952 W. Melinda Lane, Unit A, Phoenix, AZ 85027

We answer messages as soon as we are able. Competition weekends and travel weeks take longer than a normal practice week.

Raising a Concern

Concerns are raised privately by email or in a scheduled meeting. They are not raised at practice drop off or pick up, at a competition, in the viewing area, or in a group setting.

We ask families to wait 48 hours after a competition or a difficult practice before raising a concern. Conversations held after that window are more productive for everyone, including the athlete.

Placement Questions

Individual questions regarding placement are welcome and are handled privately by email. Group discussions regarding team placement are not permitted.

Practice Time

Coaches are working with athletes during practice hours and are not available for extended conversations at the start or end of practice. For anything beyond a quick logistical note, email us and we will schedule a time to talk.

Section 10

Injury & Medical

Illness

Athletes should attend unless they have a fever, are vomiting, have a contagious condition, or cannot participate safely. Notify coaches privately when in doubt and they will help determine the best path forward. Athletes who can attend but are not ready for full participation are still encouraged to come, and coaches will determine what is appropriate. Absences beyond one practice may require a doctor's note for routine adjustments.

Injury

Notify coaches immediately. A doctor's note is required, including prognosis, recovery timeline, and participation restrictions. Placement upon return is evaluated case by case based on length of absence, routine changes, and readiness to return. Families are kept informed following medical clearance.

Tuition and fees remain due during injury. If an athlete is unable to participate due to injury, they may be permitted to remain on the team in a modified role when appropriate, however all financial obligations still apply.

Return to Participation

An athlete released by a physician must provide written clearance before returning to full participation. Coaches may phase an athlete back in over multiple practices regardless of clearance. Any head injury requires written clearance from a physician specifically before the athlete returns to tumbling, stunting, or any full participation.

Family or Emergency Situations

Notify the program director and coaches privately as soon as possible. We will do our best to support your family through difficult times.

Safety & Emergency Information

Our coaching staff maintains certifications including AACCA, CPR, and First Aid.

Families must keep current emergency contact and medical information on file and update it whenever it changes. Elevate Cheer All Stars does not provide medical or accident insurance for athletes, and families are responsible for all medical costs resulting from participation. In an emergency, staff may summon emergency medical services and the family is responsible for any associated costs.

Section 11

Discipline & Dismissal

Our goal is always to correct a problem, not to remove an athlete. Most issues are handled directly by a coach in the moment. When an issue continues or is serious enough to affect the team, coaches, directors, and ownership determine the appropriate response.

All situations are handled individually. Smaller adjustments are considered before more significant steps are taken, though certain violations, such as missing a competition without prior approval, may require immediate action regardless of prior standing.

How Issues Are Addressed

  1. Coach conversation. The coach addresses the behavior directly with the athlete, and with the family when appropriate.
  2. Coach meeting. A meeting is scheduled with the family to review the situation and establish a plan forward, which may include a modified agreement or a placement adjustment.
  3. Team adjustment. Depending on the situation, the athlete may sit out, be placed as an alternate, be removed from choreography or the routine, or be held out of a competition.
  4. Dismissal. Removal from the program at the discretion of ownership.

Outcomes at every step are determined at the discretion of coaches, directors, and ownership.

Grounds for Immediate Action

The following may result in immediate action up to and including dismissal, without progressing through the steps above.

  • Bullying, hazing, or harassment of a teammate.
  • Threatening or abusive behavior toward staff, athletes, or officials.
  • Theft or intentional damage to gym or venue property.
  • Possession or use of alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, or illegal substances at the gym, at an event, or during team travel.
  • Missing a competition without prior approval.
  • Conduct at a competition that risks disqualification of a team.
  • Abusive or threatening behavior by a parent or family member toward staff.

Financial Effect of Dismissal

Dismissal does not release a family from financial obligation. A dismissed athlete's account is treated the same as a mid season withdrawal, including the early termination fee. All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, and the account remains responsible for balances as outlined in the Financial Obligations and Withdrawal sections of this handbook.

Section 12

Withdrawal Policy

Participation with Elevate Cheer All Stars is a full season commitment. Team routines, formations, and training plans are built around each athlete, and mid season departures significantly impact the entire team. By signing the acknowledgment forms at enrollment, families agree to a one year commitment for the season.

Early Termination

Should you choose to terminate your financial obligations prior to the end of the season, an early termination fee of $165 applies. Payment of the early termination fee ends the obligation for remaining monthly tuition for the balance of the season.

May 2027 tuition, having been collected at the time of enrollment as the final month of the season, is non-refundable and is forfeited upon early withdrawal. Team fees are non-refundable regardless of circumstance. Any fees already posted to the account remain due, and no portion of amounts already paid is refunded.

Withdrawal Applies Regardless of Reason

Withdrawal for any reason, including injury, relocation, or personal circumstances, is handled the same way. Tuition represents the cost of the full season and is not based on attendance. Missed practices, vacations, schedule conflicts, and late registration do not reduce or eliminate financial obligations. Amounts already paid are not refunded, and the early termination fee applies in every case.

Notice

No advance notice period is required. Submit your withdrawal in writing to ownership and it is effective upon submission. Any balance already posted to the account at that time remains due, along with the early termination fee.

Uniforms & Items Already Ordered

All sales of apparel, uniforms, and custom items are final once ordered. No refunds or exchanges are issued. Items already ordered remain the responsibility of the family regardless of whether the athlete completes the season.

Extenuating Circumstances

Elevate Cheer All Stars reserves the right to review extenuating circumstances on a case by case basis. Any exceptions, including potential account credits or adjusted payment obligations, are made at the sole discretion of ownership and do not establish precedent. In approved situations, account credits may be issued and applied toward recreational classes, clinics, or private lessons. Credits hold no cash value and are non-transferable.

Acknowledgment

By enrolling an athlete at Elevate Cheer All Stars, each family confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to the policies in this Athlete and Parent Handbook, and that these policies apply for the full 2026 to 2027 season. Questions about anything in this handbook should be directed to ownership before signing.
